Lessons are individual training 'units' that consist of videos, text blocks, links, quizzes, assignments, and downloadable resources.
Modules (sometimes referred to as sections) consist of groupings of lessons. There are many ways to organize your course content on the Learn Tourism platform or anywhere. Typically, Modules will break up individual concepts or ideas, and the lessons would be used to break that concept up into manageable sessions and trainings for the end user.
Courses are built by combining modules that work together toward the desired learning outcomes. When students have successfully completed all of the tasks, lessons, quizzes, assignments, etc. required within those modules, they are rewarded with a certificate of completion for the course.

For more complex credential, certification and degree programs, multiple courses may be "bundled" to create an advanced learning track. Students will receive a certificate of completion for each course and, once they've completed all courses required within the learning track, they're recognized as having earned their certification, credential or degree on the topic.
